It will have been 15 years this November since OmegaNet Inc., publisher of this newsletter, launched GiftsWholesale.Com, its first web portal where retail stores can find links to many wholesale vendors. Now GiftsWholesale.Com and its sister sites have received a facelift.

Four more portals were added shortly afterward: AccessoriesWholesale.Com, ApparelWholesale.Biz, DecorWholesale.Com and ToysWholesale.Com. Each of these specialized portals provides links to vendors in their respective product classifications, as well as news about the industry.

Since 1997, OmegaNet has created hundreds of B2B (business-to-business) e-commerce web sites where stores can securely place orders for their inventory. These web sites are built on the company's proprietary web system known as CAMEO EZ^©. The first version of CAMEO (Complete Automated Merchant Electronic Ordering) appeared in 2000. About half a million retail stores have registered in OmegaNet's CAMEO EZ^© system over that period of time.

At all the OmegaNet portals, retail store buyers can register and then copy their registration to hundreds of CAMEO EZ^© web sites, greatly simplifying the process of ordering inventory.
