Vend Report Tracks Retail in English-speaking Countries.
(Photo by Pixabay from Pexels.com)Point-of-sale (POS) software developer Vend has released its 2019 Retail Benchmarks Report, which averages the data of retailers in multiple English-speaking countries, allowing retailers who get the report to compare their own performance with similar stores in their regions.
The abstract page groups the U.S. and Canada as "North America" and also tracks UK, South Africa, New Zealand and other miscellaneous countries. All stats in the report are for the 2018 calendar year.
Vend found that in US dollars, North America has the highest monthly revenue with $31,039 and South Africa the lowest of those tracked with $18,786, however the two were almost even as to the average number of regular customers at 808 and 800 respectively.
When it comes to the average number of transactions in 2018, The UK topped the list with 794, New Zealand was second with 737 and North America was third with 648.
